There is lots political and tyrannical intrege between two obcessed people. Too slow for me, not the type of adventure expected from this writer. Let's hope the next one makes up for this lack.

Not as polished as the Black Jack Geary books, but an excellent read with great potential as a series.

Entertaining for me, got into it because of his lost fleet books

Jack Campbell is the pseudonym for John G. Hemry, a retired Naval officer (and graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis). As Jack Campbell, he writes The Lost Fleet series of military science fiction novels. He lives with his family in Maryland.
