How many breaths that they didn't know they were holding can one person have let out through series of books? How predictable can a plot be in a 'best selling' book? Obviously I'll be now finishing this series, but I was hoping for something more interesting and more involved plot wise than either a grumpy woman or one sided battles no matter the odds in a best selling novel...

"Jack Campbell" is the pseudonym for John G. Hemry, a retired Naval officer (and graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis). As Jack Campbell, he writes The Lost Fleet series of military science fiction novels. He lives with his family in Maryland.
