When rumors begin to swirl about a super-secret satellite that can read minds and alter reality, Lieutenant Chris Starr of the Navy's "X-Files" team is handed his strangest case ever. And to solve it, he must track down a rogue Navy SEAL who may or may not be a ghost.

Once again teamed with beautiful Irish detective Maura McCann, Starr finds himself looking for clues from the streets of Rome to a mysterious, snow-covered mountain in Arizona to Africa's forbidding Skeleton Coast—and finally in outer space itself.
