An enthusiastic observer of human nature, he is profusely empathetic and analytical, and becomes enthralled by the complex relationships of his fellow medics. Sir Hugh Seymour Walpole (1884 – 1941) was English novelist who was born in New Zealand. This volume is being republished now in an affordable, modern edition complete with a specially commissioned new biography of the author.
