The Cowgirl's Sacrifice

Kate was a rolling stone. She liked it that way. When she is gravely injured, she has to return home when the medical bills pile up and she can't work. She has to face her brothers on Rebel Ranch but that doesn't mean they need to know how injured she is. She can fake it....sure she can! Jess can't believe Kate has returned to Rebel Ranch just as he has taken the job of foreman. That was supposed to be her job but she took too long to answer so Kate's brothers offered it to Jess. Kate and Jess have a history and Kate is none too happy that Jess is back in town and he has her job! I love the Rainbolt family and with this being the last book, I will miss them! I'm so glad all the characters were featured heavily in this story so we could "say goodbye" to them! Kate is independent, adventurous and strong-willed but she needs to settle down and stay in one place. It just takes an injury to figure that out! Jess isn't going to let Kate break his heart again, especially this time when his mom is so sick. This story has so much emotion, heart and love in it! I couldn't put it down!
