In The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Mark Twain talks about the life of an imaginative and frisky boy called Tom. His imaginative and adventurous mind often propel him into mischievous activities, hence he becomes a subject of exploits and punishments. The story begins with a stern Aunt Polly searching for her nephew Tom in order to punish him. Everybody finds fault in his imaginative designs. However, Tom’s friends enjoy his company for the same. This book takes an important spot in the series “Young Reader’s Classics”. The lively illustrations themselves speak about the hero and his world. The book has been divided to aid the young readers in correlating the incidents.
