Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character of the late 19th and early 20th centuries that first appeared in the 1887 novel ‘A Study in Scarlet’.
Sherlock Holmes was created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, a Scottish author and physician. Doyle wrote a total of four novels and 56 short stories that feature Holmes. All of these stories were published between 1887 and 1927, and now they often appear as ‘The Complete Sherlock Holmes’.
Under the series ‘Young Readers Classic’, this book contains adapted versions of two famous Sherlock Holmes stories ‘A Scandal in Bohemia’ and ‘The Red-headed League’.
Written in a simple language, the book contains colorful illustrations that make the reading enjoyable.
