The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is one of the great classics of American literature. The novel was published by American writer Mark Twain in 1884. In it, the protagonist, a friend of Tom Sawyer, embarks on numerous adventures as he travels down the Mississippi River on a raft. The publication of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a landmark in American literature. In 1998, the first print of the book (which had been rejected) was auctioned for 1.5 million dollars. In addition to detailing the conservative society of the southern United States, it is a highly enjoyable adventure story. An excellent read for both young people and adults.
