This book troubles me. I realise the male protagonist is supposed to come off as an alpha/bad boy hero, but his behaviour towards the female protagonist is worrisome to say the least. I'm only halfway through and so far he's: - searched out where she works - blocked the only exit from the room so she can't leave - found out her phone number to call and text her even though she tells him to stop - found out her adress and turned up at her home uninvited in the middle of the night - blackmailed her into a date with a video of them having sex - a video filmed after he'd told her he'd stopped the camera - and last and certainly most creepily, touched her intimately despite her saying no and showing obvious signs of unease. If just a few of these happened in real life, we'd all tell her to run away screaming! Surely it's possible to write an alpha hero who respects the lady when she says no and tells him to stop.
