About this ebook

Our institutions have gone "woke." Everybody knows that. But nobody has come up with a way to stop it. Until now.

In this hard-hitting new book, Senator Ted Cruz delivers a realistic battle plan for defeating the woke assault on America.

The Democratic Party is now controlled by Cultural Marxists. So are our universities and public schools, the media, Big Tech, and Big Business. Corporations push transgenderism down their customers' throats. Banks punish gun shops. Hollywood insults our religious beliefs and grooms our children. The big investment companies use our retirement savings to promote leftist causes. And the Biden administration has turned our military into an indoctrination camp, neglected transportation safety to focus on climate change, and persecuted peaceful pro-lifers while leaving prochoice arsonists at large.

The son of Cuban immigrants who fled communist oppression, Cruz is uniquely equipped to fight the woke revolution. He eloquently explains how Cultural Marxism got a foothold in America, how it progressed, and how, in precise steps, we can fight back to regain our institutions, regain our country—and win the future for our children.

Bold, practical, and necessary, Unwoke is the book we need to restore the America we love.

Despicable rubbish. The use of the word woke as a pejorative is insulting to millions of Americans (Conservative, Center and Liberal alike) who reject the far-right authoritarian branch of post-Bush GOP. The idea that freedom of speech and choice correspond to some form of Marxism is not only insulting, but inaccurate. Ultimately, Cruzeiro should remember the names Trump and his followers concocted for him and his family before taking a pseudo-loyalist hypocritical stance.

Pretentious and self-aggrandizing, Cruz portrays himself as a loyalist defending the nation from being under seige by undesirables. Facts, not fiction or feelings, should be used when evaluating his statements as many of the claims he makes can be disproven with a cursory search in the Congress.gov site. Writing this book to "destroy wokism" is the most pathetic attempt at maintaining relevance. Even the media is souring to the 'anti-wokism' trend as people tend to move from one anger to the next these days. Truly, wokism is simply deciding to live your life by your rules - the very definition of freedom. This is portrayed as a bad thing because he pushes the notion you should think what someone else tells you to think when that person is better than you, BECAUSE they know what is best for you better than you do. It's intriguigingly ironic that he may be one of the strongest contributors to the downfall of American Democracy. Came from the bargain bin, and back it goes for $4.
