About this ebook

Destined to be alone...only to discover he’s not—in this intensely sexy new Lone Wolf Legacy series from New York Times bestselling author N.J. Walters

There’s only supposed to be one lone wolf. When other shifters see me coming, see my white fur and pale eyes, they know things are about to get real. Because my job—my fate—is to take out the wolves who go rogue.

Only now something has changed.

For the first time ever, there are three of us: one white, one gray, one black. And if that’s not ominous enough, my senses have pulled me to New York City...for a human.

There’s something almost supernatural about the connection between me and Zoe Galvani. It’s not just the crackle of heat, the blood pounding through my veins—or even that her eyes are the strange, pale hue of my own.

It’s that she makes my wolf come alive. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever felt. Almost like magic.

Which is when I learn that someone’s out to hunt me. That I’m their prey.

...and Zoe is the bait.

Each book in the Lone Wolf Legacy series is STANDALONE:
* Taming the White Wolf
* Protecting the Gray Wolf
* Tempting the Black Wolf

I liked this book a lot. The story was quite intriguing, and it grabbed and held my interest well. The combination of thrills, drama, tension, steam, twists, suspense and emotion had me very eager to keep those pages turning as I tried to guess what would happen next. Devlin and Zoe have chemistry that sizzles and sparks hot enough to blister and the heat they generate together is sinfully sultry. I am eager to continue reading more of this exciting new series.

Zoe’s never felt like she belonged anywhere. Then she has a chance encounter changes her life. “I’m the white wolf.” “You said that before, like it has some special significance.” Devlin is the white wolf a complete loner who doesn’t trust anyone. He’s drawn to Zoe but lone wolves don’t mate. “You never did tell me where we were going.” “Sleepy Hollow.” “Of course, we’re headed to the land of myth and legend and the headless horseman. Where else would a werewolf go?” First book in a new seri

Well that was certainly a wild ride! Non-stop action, subterfuge to uncover, secrets to be revealed, all while our couple try to maneuver their wild attraction to each other. Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down as it kept me on my toes, and just when I thought I might have things figured out, it turned them all around again. Most definitely looking forward to grey and black wolf’s stories <3

About the author

Once upon a time N.J. had the idea that she would like to quit her job at the bookstore, sell everything she owned, leave her hometown, and write romance novels in a place where no one knew her. And she did. Two years later, she went back to the bookstore and her hometown and settled in for another seven years. One day she gave notice at her job on a Friday morning. On Sunday afternoon, she received a tentative acceptance for her first erotic romance novel and life would never be the same. N.J. has always been a voracious reader, and now she spends her days writing novels of her own. Vampires, werewolves, dragons, time-travelers, seductive handymen, and next-door neighbors with smoldering good looks—all vie for her attention. It’s a tough life, but someone’s got to live it.
