This was another wonderful book in the Vaxxlian Mail Order Brides series full of wonderful characters and an entertaining storyline. I loved getting to know both Axall & Rachel as well as Rachel's employer Karla who gets her own story in Alien Warrior's Second Chance. The epilogue at the end of the book set one year later is also really cute. I look forward to reading and reading many more books featuring Vaxxlian Warriors.

I adored this book! It is fun and sexy, just as I was expecting. But what captured my attention and made me fall in love with this story was the deeply intense emotions. Axall is all set to mate a human, for the sake of all Vaxxlian. This warrior turned mechanic knows loss, and while not enthusiastic, he is looking forward to building a family, as are his brothers. But arriving on Earth, finding Rachel, changes his focus to only her. She's all he can see, the only one he can imagine a life with. Devoted and protective, I love how willing Axall is to learn about Earth so he can better understand Rachel. Rachel is lost. Entering cryosleep shortly after the devastating loss of her family, 75 years later she must still deal with her grief on top of adjusting to a new world. Add in her worry over the hidden health effects of cryosleep, and Rachel completely refuses to consider Axall as a mate. Falling for him in spite of herself, Rachel clings to her convictions. But when Axall rescues her from those intent on experimenting on the sleepers, he finally gets to the root of her resistance and is able to calm her fears. And I must say, the Vaxxlians have a beautiful mating ceremony! Wonderfully complex, sweetly emotional, with hidden pockets of humor, this is an excellent book any SciFi romance fan is sure to enjoy! Happy Reading!!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Rachel has had a hard life before the age of 21. She then did something that her family did not want her to do now after seventy-five years from when she was born. Rachel is trying to fit in to the world now and deal with her life. Now there is Aliens on Earth and mated with human females. Rachel is not sure she thinks she should be around to many people because of being in cryosleep can do to you. Now it would be the time to get the book. I will be getting more from this author.
