About this ebook

‘The best book I've ever read . . . Every time I feel low, I turn to this book and it offers me so much comfort. It’s funny, real and the food descriptions always make me hungry! If you've ever gone through a messy break up, read this book. It’s amazing!’ NetGalley review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Girl meets boy. Girl loses boy. Girl loses mind.

Sophie Klein walks into a bar one Friday night and her life changes. She meets James Stephens: charismatic, elusive, and with a hosiery model ex who casts a long, thin shadow over their burgeoning relationship. He’s clever, funny and shares her greatest pleasure in life – to eat and drink slightly too much and then have a little lie down. Sophie’s instinct tells her James is too good to be true – and he is...

Filled with love, heartbreak and joy,Pear-Shaped is smart, laugh-out-loud funny and above all relatable to women everywhere.

Easy reading although alot about puddings and very slow at some points. The ending felt a bit rushed but agree and as said by others good book for a afternoon in the sun.

Was fancying some chick lit and found this. To begin with it felt like any other good chick lit book, but as it went on it became so much more. A fantastic book that makes the crazy things you do, seem sane.
