About the author

Sowmya Sailendra is a Visual Arts & Design Innovation graduate who is passionate

about story telling. Sowmya feels there is magic and beauty everywhere, and her books are an extension of her artistic journey. She is generally curious in life and has learnt a lot about artistic expression, storytelling, and sustainability from the many grandparents that have been part of her life growing up - she often felt they waved their magic hands and beautiful things just appeared and those things somehow solved all the world’s problems. Sowmya is enthusiastic about illustrations, crafts, and loves DIY projects. Sowmya hopes little readers will find magic, joy, and beauty in the simple & the mundane, just like all her grandparents.
