A beautiful story with strong characters. A best friend to lovers story. I was particularly fond of Gray. As a former drummer of a famous band it has not gone to his head and he is above all not a womanizer but a man with respect for women. Even if they are too flirty with him and touch him all the time, he remains respectful. And then his attitude and feelings for Daisy. They just make you melt for him. And his paternal love for Henry, Daisy's son. And it's nice that his feelings are so strongly exposed in this story. Daisy, as a former model, has been portrayed as an independent woman with a new career as a photographer. When it turns out that the man she had an affair with isn't Henry's father, her world collapses. Knowing she hasnt slept with anyone else, she realizes she's a rape victim under a drug that makes her know nothing. Doubts about herself and who she was, nay, who she is, strain her relationship with Gray. A good story, well-developed dialogues, tension, unexpected turns, clear chemistry between the main characters 4* I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
