Brilliant! It was so hard to put this book down. I stayed up past my normal bedtime. I knew better than picking up any of Eric's books for a quick read of a chapter before sleep. Alice and Jacob's adventures in Skysworn are as fast paced as ever! Furi completes the trio. The war rages on and creates havoc and heartache and chaos for everyone. New and old storylines emerge from this book making/wanting, No, creating a need like an addiction to keep me/you reading line after line! I'm voluntarily writing this review. I received this book as an Advanced Readers Copy.

What a fantastic read - the characters and storyline continue to be so compelling and the build up and battles are absolutely gripping. Loved it
