Concerto is the gripping sequel to a high suspense, high thrill, highly erotic read that captured me heart and soul. This forbidden romance is the ultimate taboo perfection that twisted and tormented me from start to finish. I found myself gripping my kindle as if my life depended on it! This thrilling, off limits romance was everything my lil sub heart needed out of a sexy read! Add in the heart stopping suspense, breathtaking chemistry, and angst that hurt my soul, and you have an irresistible, unforgettable love story. I am addicted to Liam North and after that ending? I need Book 3 immediately.

Up All Night
5 Stars Review by Elizabeth Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog Epic. Epic. Epic! Skye Warren has delivered another great book with Concerto. Concerto, is installment two of three, in the North Security trilogy. You must read the first installment, Overture, to understand this trilogy. Be prepared to be sucked in by this kick-behind trilogy. Concerto picks up right where Overture left off and boy is it awesome! Not only do we get more Liam and Samantha, we get a lot more action-packed romance. Samantha is in another city without the man she loves because she left him behind to start a world tour. Not only is her life in danger, she misses Liam like crazy. Will Liam be able to protect her from her past? Or will they get caught in the crossfire? Skye Warren knows how to play with your emotions. I was on pins and needles while reading Concerto and feeling like throwing my iPad at some points. I loved the action in addition to the romance. It makes it...hot. Be prepared to have your socks knocked off in this epic installment. I cannot wait for summer to come so I can read the final installment, Sonata.

This is book two in this series and to get all of Liam and Samantha's story you must first read book one, Overture. If you are a fan of the forbidden romance trope I don't think that you can not enjoy this series. The complex combination of long fought desires, angst, steamy passion, drama, tension, suspense, danger, humor and intense emotions quickly pull you back into this couple's story. I like both these characters. Both have emotional baggage and their complicated history adds another big burden on to the already epic sized pile. The story does make some progress with this book but not as much progress as I would have liked. We do get some questions answered, Samantha matures a bit more and Liam shares some of the darkness of his past with her. In the end though the push-pull, cycle of surrender to desire and guilt is still very much in effect. I would be lying if I didn't say that I am concerned about this couple realistically finding happiness. Liam loves Samantha. The love he feels for her is intense, deep and in many ways profound. He is consumed by it and tormented by it. Samantha loves him but does she love him enough. If I consider her actions in this book, I'm left wondering if she does. Liam is tragically broken. Her love has to be strong and powerful enough to accept his flaws because love is not the cure all to fix him. His scars are too deep and the damage too extreme. Do prepare yourself for the cliffhanger because there is another one to be survived before things wrap up in book three. The narrators again did a stellar job of bringing every nuance to life in this taught, emotional romance.
