I enjoyed reading the story, but I feel it was a bit short and jumped forward a little too fast. It would have been nice to see more of them together. All of a sudden, it´s 10 months later, then poof she´s suddenly ill and had to go back to the past. It was a bit jarring. No HEA here, but that was expected. At first, I would have liked an ending showing Drake and little Petra. But, as it stands now, it is definitely a very strong ending, and it does brings the story full circle. It's perfect.

Skye MacKinnon Saving His Queen: A Mary Queen of Scots Romance (Academy of Time Book 3) I have never heard of the Time Travel Academy and Ms. MacKinnon is a New author to me but definitely one I will be keeping my eye on. I love history and I actually enjoyed this book very much. This time we have a Male time traveler, Drake who has fallen in love with Mary Queen of Scots. There’s lots of drama and twists unfolding in this fast paced story. While the author does not change Mary’s story she does use her artistic license to manipulate time. Mary’s life and story itself is fascinating. The author does a wonderful job creating characters you’re sure to like and a tale that you won’t want to put down. I enjoyed the story so much! Thank you Ms. MacKinnon for this intriguing love story.

This book was another segment of the time travel academy series which has become an instant favorite of mine. This book was good but I still miss the Vikings from the original story and I want more of them. Overall, it was a great fast paced read with a touch of drama and a good bit of action. If you are into history this will tickle your fancy but not overwhelm you with information. I would recommend this to a friend. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
