Jannu A. Bordineo, lahir di Gersik, sebuah kampung di Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara yang sering disalah kira dengan salah satu kabupaten di Jawa. Lulusan teknik yang menggandrungi sastra. Mulai menulis cerita sejak ikut lomba mengarang cerpen sewaktu SD. Buku kesukaannya adalah Jiwa Pelaut karya Moerwanto. Temui dia di kedalaman hutan atau di keluasan lautan, karena dia pendamba ketenangan.
