Halle is recovering from a traumatic breakup/divorce from her cheating hound of an ex. Most of her time goes to her demanding job as an ER Nurse. Her interactions with Luke, her soon to be brother in law are kept at a minimum even though she’s attracted to him. Luke has been in love with Halle since highschool and is willing to wait for her. He knows how much her ex Trevor messed her up. Halle is afraid to trust again and doubts she will ever have her HEA. This was a sweet second chance romance with nice pacing.
