I read the whole series 1 book after another, devouring each one with more and more appreciation for the characters and the depth of the plot. I read hundreds of books a year but rarely write reviews, letting the number of stars I choose do the talking for me. This series deserved more. I was drawn in within the 1st 20 pages of book 1 and did not pause or waver till I finished the last line of the last book. I can not recommend this whole series more.

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. I will read this series again , with all the intrigue and characters, I am sure I would enjoy it just as much if not better. First reading there are a lot of times you try to remember how a character came to be and what is his or her contribution and where , who , what! Brilliant.

brilliant series. I enjoyed all 9 books. I love the majority of the characters and how they came to life, especially the main man, Ara Storm, quite the messiah and king, a friend and brother of the hated, abused, and mistreated. They all came alive, were reborn through him, and yet they were also his salvation many a times. I could go on, epic!!!👏🏾👏🏾 Kudos Rory Surtain.
