About the author

A native of New Jersey, Robert Kugler retired from education in order to pursue his dream of being both an engaged parent and a published author. Following his years as a teacher and administrator he found his mind strangely still in tune with the perspective of young people. As his three children inch ever closer to becoming teenagers, he's hoping that continues. Spending his formative years in South Jersey, Wildwood in particular, has provided a unique perspective on the Real Jersey Shore, not to mention an inability to live more than forty miles from the ocean.A graduate of both The College of Wooster and Seton Hall University, Robert is an avid (and long suffering) Philadelphia Sports fan and enjoys working part time as a mixologist at George Washington's Mount Vernon. He currently lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and three children and a Labrador named Maggie, who just happens to be laying on his foot as this is written. He spends as much time as possible in Wildwood, NJ, as it's simply the best beach on the East Coast. Read more at alohakugs.blogspot.com
