About this ebook

Rob Halford's A-to-Z of Rock and Metal sees Rob to run his lively eye over all facets of the music and metal world. It's a lively encyclopaedia in which Rob shares his thoughts, memories and anecdotes on every area of the rock 'n' roll life, from tours to tattoos, riffs to riders and drugs to devil horns.

What does 'heavy metal' mean? Why do people head-bang? Who are Rob's heroes and villains? Chemistry-wise, what makes a great band? What can ruin it? What is Lead Singer Syndrome? How do bands survive a tour bus without killing each other? What makes a perfect set-list? Or rider? Or after-show party? Who are the rock's all-time great voices? And why are online music retailers such wankers?

From A to Z - from AC/DC to Zeppelin, from alcohol to Zzzzzs (battling insomnia across the world's time zones) - Rob Halford's A-to-Z of Rock and Metal is a frank, no-holds-barred guide that transports fans behind the scenes of every aspect of life in a world-conquering metal band.
