Crochet pattern to create a red bag with a doily.
Size: Bag is 6.7 x 7.5 inches (17 x 19cm), Strap is 45.3 inches (115.5 cm) long.
Gauge: Single crochet: 21 sc = 4 inches (10 cm), 24 rows = 4 inches (10 cm).
For materials you can use:
No 3 yarn (DK, Light Worsted) Cotton Time from Schachenmayr (red 030 = 2 balls);
No 2 yarn (Sport, Baby). Catania yarn from Schachenmayr SMC. (cream 130 = 1 ball);
3.25 mm hook (US = D-3, UK = 10);
4.0 mm hook (US = G-6, UK = 7);
One 10mm White bead or button;
Two 0.8 mm red buttons;
Pins;
Needle and thread same color as doily (or use invisible thread)
US Crochet Abbreviations:
ch = chain; sc = single crochet; dc = double crochet; hdc = half double crochet; st = stitch; sl = slip; tog = together.
