Simon is the bodyguard that Marianne needs now, and with the backing of the Blackmore team they take on her ex-husband and anyone he's working with. Light on the action and suspense, this story mostly revolves around the conflicting feelings as Simon and Mari figure out just how much their intense chemistry can develop into a more satisfying relationship. This story was amazing and powerful in its display of the emotional turmoil both characters felt. This is a romance that draws the reader in right from the start and doesn't let go until the ring is on her finger. Absolutely beautiful, I loved every bit. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I just love a good second chance romance and Marianna and Simon's book did not disappoint it was well written and these two were just great together. They were head over heels for each other when she was eighteen until her dad drove them apart now ten years have passed and Simon is back and the first thing he does is save her from her ex-husband. This is a good book and I would recommend it.

This was a hot story, with intense moments between two star-crossed lovers given a second chance together. Enthralling with its suspense elements. I am looking forward to reading the other stories of this series, now that I got a glimpse of the other men at Blackmore, Inc!
