About this eBook

He's supposed to be a prince, not a prisoner...

Things are as bad as they can get for Ranger when he's thrown in a cell and told he's about to be sold for a profit. But his captors don't know he's a dragon, and he's ready to rain fire on them all in payback.

Until he meets Sidney.

She's stronger than she looks...

When Sidney discovers Ranger on the ship, it throws her world into upheaval. She's no slaver. She'll do what it takes to free him, even if it means crossing her captain and crew. When Ranger turns the tables on her, she's almost too angry to be attracted to him.

Almost.

Freeing Ranger has repercussions. And soon it's not just Sidney that's in danger, but everyone she loves as well. She'll need to trust the dragon prince if she's going to save them all.

But how can she do that without losing her heart?

This is the second story in the "Dragon Brides" series. It is a fairly short, quick and fast paced story with wonderful characters. This story is about Ranger and Sidney. These two are combustible together. I love how their story develops with some suspense, action and really good twists.

Ranger went looking for his missing brother and found a whole heap of trouble. Ranger is a prince and yet he finds himself needing the aid of human female to escape from Slavers. But things don't go easy for our intrepid duo. Sidney is the settlements mechanic but she got sent with her off-world colleagues when their mech is out of action. Sidney then sees just how backwater and out of the loop her people are - and what they are willing to overlook! Sidney and Ranger are really fun together. He should be the one doing the protecting, and he does...eventually! Sidney hasn't met a machine she couldn't fix somehow and he's the warrior prince - they really should never have met but fate (or the Matchmaker) had other ideas. Quick, quirky read with opposites attract.
