AVOID! I wish I could give this book zero stars. There's nothing wrong with the food. It looks really healthy and tasty. My heartiest suggestion is instead of making bogus health claims~stick to cooking! It's the medical claims with "may help with" or "may boost your immune system", in front of the sentence to avoid being accused of making illicit claims, that are the most frustrating. I'm a retired public health nurse and the "may boost your immune system" is so troublesome for me. You absolutely, one hundred percent DO NOT WANT TO "BOOST" YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM! A "boosted" immune system is a very sick immune system. Diseases like arthritis, fibro/cfs, multiple sclerosis and many, many more are the result of a boosted immune system. What it means is your immune system is attacking healthy normal tissue~like myelin, muscle bone etc. The claims for turmeric are equally as disturbing. You'd have to literally eat pounds of it a week for months to see any result. (sorry for length)
