About this ebook

He’s my first love. My high school sweetheart. And he’s leaving tomorrow for a bigger and better life.

I’ve loved Ben almost my entire life, and we have one night left before he heads miles away to college on a football scholarship. I’m bound and determined to make sure this day goes perfectly so he remembers me as the girl he loves. But I can’t help worrying that I’ll end up as the girl he loved.

One Last Summer is the prequel novella to the new book The One I left Behind. We are introduced to Gillian and Ben. Two highschool sweethearts that are faced with the reality that one will go away to college and one will stay behind. We see them spend the last of their summer break together. Loved this quick read. And, it was a quick and sassy introduction to this love story.

This is a prequel to a new series by Piper Rayne. We get introduced to the ranch and some of the citizens. The three brothers' personalities are so different. We see how the love story of Ben and Gillian began before it all changed. New chapters are on the horizon. A great set up for the first book in the series.

This is a quick novella introducing the characters for the latest series from Piper Rayne’s Plain Daisy Ranch. If The One I Left Behind was anything to go by, then they are off to a flying start. Narrated by C J Bloom and Robert Hatchett, they did a wonderful job bringing the story and characters to life. I cannot wait to read and listen to more in this series.
