Studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan peneliti di SMP Negeri 3 Bondowoso telah memperoleh laporan permasalahan sebagai berikut: (1) selama pembelajaran daring mayoritas siswa menggunakan android untuk bermain game, (2) 25% siswa terlambat mengumpulkan tugas akibat waktu belajar yang terbuang karena bermain game, (3) siswa mengharapkan pembelajaran yang disajikan dengan menarik dan menyenangkan agar lebih termotivasi dalam belajar.
