Über dieses E-Book

A little boy, deserted by his drug-addicted mother and barely alive, arrives at St. Joes Emergency. He's been without food or water for days. Will he survive?

Pediatric nurse Hailey Bergstrom takes David into her arms and, from that moment, into her heart. Nurturing but plain, she assumes that there will be no romance, marriage, or children for her. She falls deeply in love with this baby. She wants to find a way to foster him.

Then social worker Roy Zedyck walks into her life, and suddenly Hailey's heart is out of control, with love for David--but also for Roy. And he feels as profoundly for Hailey as she does for him.

But then he deals Hailey's hopeful heart an unexpected blow that sends her reeling.

How can he send her beloved David back to the woman who nearly killed him?

One Little Miracle is a story with no easy answers. It's about love, the law, and the compromises made to keep a baby safe and happy.

It's a love story, but sometimes, the road to a happy ending has pain and difficult choices.

Autoren-Profil

Best-selling writer Bobby Hutchinson writes stories about almost everything, as long as everything involves romance, quirky people, outrageous kids, deafness, time travel, or medicine, with most of which she's familiar.

(Well, maybe not time travel. But who knows?)

She lives in a funky little cottage in Cranbrook, B.C., a small city in the Canadian Rockies. In the summer, she hauls her very small travel trailer, Calamity Jane, to campgrounds. In the winter, she hibernates.

She faints at the sight of blood, although her best-selling medical romance series, Emergency, does have the occasional scene involving bodily fluids.

She's written over 60 books, mostly romance, with a few memoirs tossed in. How Not To Run A B&B, set in Vancouver,  was chosen by the Kootenay Library Association as Best Book of the Year, and is now being made into a film.

She lives in the land of possibility. And she's now writing faster than ever, because at 83, who knows when she'll head off to seek the Great Perhaps?
