Nightwalker: The First Dark Days Novel

I seem to be on a string of books in which i love the characters and the writing of the book without liking the world they live in. For me, the world of Anita Blake is the one i believe the most (even though i stopped liking the books very much) or the Merry Gentry series on the world of the fae. However, even though i did not much care for the world they lived in, i loved this book. I enjoyed all the characters and i can't wait to find out what happens with Mira.

AWEsome, i love it, the moment i began reading, it just keeps getting better and better!!! Ive never seen or read a book like this before, since its quite unusual in perspective, as in the main character MIRA is the VAMPIRE and would mind killing humans...etc and the Male character is DANAUS, a vampire hunter, whose protect human against vampires and thinks that all vampires are evil!! Both of these two characters are great since they are not weak and their interactions are quite funny as well as inetersting at time. Not too much romance in the first book, but that's what MAKES it SOOO Gud, the actions and plot is FANTASTIC and although with not so much romances, the parts where there are, ARE sooo steaming! GREAT book! One of the best vampire books eva. It creates its own world involving vampires and vampire system and hierachy!!!

Pretty good. A female vampire is the main character with a human-ish hunter. I'd read the others if I were in a bind.
