This is a Mafia Romantic Suspense, and this is the first book in the Gruco Crime Family. I think this is a great start to a new series. I wish we got more of the Mafia side. I did love all the characters, and my heart really felt for the Abi and her son. This book was full of romance and steamy times with action and suspense mixed into it. I really loved the ending of this book. Great Read and I cannot wait to read the next book. I received an ARC of this book.

This book has everything you could want in a good read, a stronger-than-she-thinks heroine and a strong man who lets his guard down for her and her son, beautiful. They learn to trust and what true love is together.

This book captivated me from the first page. I actually stayed up late to finish this book and I kind of regret it. Not because it was bad, but because I didn’t want it to end! The characters are so well thought out. They all have their own personalities that shine throughout the book. The relationships between them are perfect and this story was beautifully written. The action is described so well and the scenes and plot compliment one another so well. I love Mafia so this book was definitely for me. It had the perfect amount of action, romance and tension. If you like Mafia, romance, action and sweetness on the side, this is the book for you!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Nicole Cypher is a hopeless romantic who enjoys reading gruesome thrillers but usually finds herself rooting for the villain. When you combine these traits, you get a dark romance author with a knack for writing plot twists, serial killers, mafia men, troubled heroes, and villains who still manage to win her over in the end.
