Not my usual fare but read it bc reasons. Good: The star couple are lovable
characters, the kids are ok, the villain is despicable. It's a compelling
read with feels. Bad: Excessive hyphens. Author's world is extremely white
and straight. Diversity is only hinted at in a caricature way. There's some
lazy, sloppy writing when the villain is given the clue he needs on a
silver platter & is somewhat excused in the way white terrorists are in the
USA ; mental issues. Improbable fluff, but ok fluff.

this book was one the best books i have ever read! it is hard to write a romance novel without a predictable ending, but Nicholas sparks words are so beautiful and heart-touching that it is irrelevant. the book and the film do not disappoint, and i would recommend it to anyone, because not only does it have romance but it is a mystery and thriller all the while!

Safe haven is a book about a girl,Katie who is heartbroken and is running away from her past. She enters a new town and starts her new life by reserving herself from almost everyone. But then she meets two people-Jo and Alex. Alex is a widowed father of two kids and Jo is Katie's mysterious new neighbor. Slowly things start unravelling and Katie starts adjusting in her life and slowly falls in love with Alex. But is there something which she is holding back? Something about her past life? To know about it,read the book! Trust me,you won't regret reading it.It is so well written that you never feel bored.Hats off to Nicholas Sparks for presenting such a beatiful story.
