About this ebook

In the highly anticipated finale to the New York Times bestselling trilogy, dictators, prophets, and tensions rise. In a world that’s conquered death, will humanity finally be torn asunder by the immortal beings it created?

Citra and Rowan have disappeared. Endura is gone. It seems like nothing stands between Scythe Goddard and absolute dominion over the world scythedom. With the silence of the Thunderhead and the reverberations of the Great Resonance still shaking the earth to its core, the question remains: Is there anyone left who can stop him?

The answer lies in the Tone, the Toll, and the Thunder.

I have absolutely no qualms with this book. I feel like everything was neatly tied in a bow at the end in the most lovingly heart wrenching ending I've ever read. So much love went into this book and that's so immensely clear in every way. I laughed, I cried, I threw my phone in anger, I cried some more. A rollercoaster of emotions and I loved every second.

This book forgot it's original story for me. The lack of the two main characters through out most of the book, made for a distinct lack of interest in the plot of the book. The author's decision to only let less than 50000 of earth population travel to stars is unbelievable . The final solution to the world's overpopulation is not enough to prevent the eventual demise of human society on earth.final observation is that a AI as sophisticated as it is could blame all of humanity for one man acts of violence.

The main storyline is fine, it's a good enough wrap up of the series. But Scythe Rand is the true villain, and the fact that she got a happy ending is disgusting.
