About this ebook
In this life, pain, sorrow, and disappointment are real.
Maybe you’ve been wounded by a family member or friend. Perhaps you know the pain of losing someone you love or of a difficult medical diagnosis. Sometimes we need to know there’s hope for when life just hurts. Nancy Guthrie knows what it’s like to hurt―sometimes so much that there aren’t words to describe the pain. In The One Year Book of Hope Devotional, she encourages you to spend this year learning to hope and hold onto faith when life has let you down. She offers no trite answers or quick cures; just remarkable, hopeful daily insights from the depths of Scripture and her own experiences. With Nancy Guthrie as your compassionate guide you’ll find:

Honest truth about the loving character of God in the midst of the biggest pains and losses we go through in life and what He calls us forward to. Given to me by a friend at a time in life when I was betrayed by the people that “loved” me the most. Sheds light on the imperfection of our love and the perfection of God’s love.
