This is a suspenseful, second chance, fast paced book. Lila Christie and Sheriff Stewart Duncan have quite a past. When they find they must work together and he wonders if he can keep her safe. They must learn to try to understand where they other comes from and how differently their views took them. There are twist and turns in this book and all while trying to figure out a 10 year old cold case. I was given a copy of this book for my honest opinion.

I love a small-town story and this one did not disappoint. Wonderful characters and it held my interest. I would recommend this to be added to your TBR list.
