Great way to teach kids that it's good to be kind and caring. Great ales from Dax and good to involve the reader with questions

About the author

Have you ever set a goal for yourself just to see if you could do it? Mike has set many goals throughout his life. One of his goals is to always help others by reminding them there is always good to find in the world. The Lathrop, Missouri native learned as an Eagle Scout there is always more to learn as we grow older. As a U.S. Army Rappel Master, he found a love for God and Country which led Mike in a later chapter of life to become a youth minister. Mike was awaiting an organ transplant when he met Dax in 2015 with the help of the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs. The transplant recipient took Dax into the Kansas City area to give hope to others with the simple kindness of letting his service dog bring a smile to others. This is how TeamDax was formed with the idea of finding creative ways to put some good in the world while reminding others that there is always hope. In the spirit of paying it forward all proceeds of Mike's books go to charity. In addition to some children’s books Mike has written a pending series “The Hope Chronicles,” about facing his mortality more than a dozen times in the past decade and a half.
