Wow!! I literally just finished reading this. I read this in one day! I really truly couldn't put it down. I really liked it, and the bear post part specifically instilled fear in me. I read this alone in my room as the day got darker and darker, so that was quite fitting. I like the style of writing , it's easy to understand but still hooks you. I also like how it is set in the Arctic! that's different! I'm still trying to gather my thoughts since I just finished the book a few minutes ago, but wow, I really enjoyed it. thanks for writing it! you did a great job :) I would recommend it to anyone who likes a quick! gripping book, and a ghost story that leaves some things to the imagination. p.s. Gus rocks!

I have loved ghost stories, the otherworldly descriptions of the polar regions and ofcourse, writing that sounds so like a first hand account set in the early 20th century England. This ticks all boxes with love for a furry friend too, what more can you ask for a satisfying evening read!

An absolutely fantastic read, the characters are interesting and the mood is well set in the quiet, loneliness of the Arctic Circle. The only down point is that the author doesn't yet have any other horror stories! I would definitely recommend this to anyone, the best book I've read this year!
