If you plan on reading these shorts before the books, don't. I am totally lost. I get some things obviously, but you definitely need to read the main series first, I think. This was pretty good but there's just so much you don't know. I honestly don't feel comfortable eating it at all without reading the others first....but...it definitely makes me want to read the main series. I'm curious about Ann. And after reading the Lizzie book 1, I think it will be good. So definitely go read the others first. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Book one in the suspense shorts was just that suspenseful and short. A fun little read for a lunch break or a dr's office wait. I love following Ann on her adventures!.

Matty Dalrymple is the author of the Ann Kinnear Suspense Novels, beginning with THE SENSE OF DEATH, and Suspense Shorts as well as the Lizzy Ballard Thrillers, beginning with ROCK PAPER SCISSORS. She lives with her husband and their dogs in Chester County, Pennsylvania and enjoys vacationing on Mount Desert Island, Maine, and Sedona, Arizona, and these locations provide the settings for her work.
