The book could have been much better if it had less commentary by Matthew West. 70% of the book was commentary by West. For example you'd have a story about forgiveness that takes up 3/4-1 page, then you'd have commentary on that story by West taking up 2-3 pages. I would have liked to have heard the people tell their stories more in depth. Overall a decent read but could have been better.

My favorite song is Forgiveness. Not knowing the story behind it until I watched the Katie Couric show when Matthew was on. Hearing the story behind the song and behind the book, I knew I needed to read it. I am so glad I did.
