About this ebook

Running toward danger is about to become Rosie's full-time job.

When a grizzled stranger crashes into her life and lifts the concealment that has marred her face since childhood, Rosie Avalon leaves everything she knows behind. Pulled into a realm teeming with magical creatures, Rosie must navigate this new, broken world while avoiding capture by the evil queen, who knows there's more to Rosie than meets the eye.

Bastien is an Untouchable, feared and shunned by all but a handful of elite warriors. His realm has been ravaged by the evil queen's reign, but he will stop at nothing to save the land he loves, even if it means pushing Rosie past her breaking point.

Thrust into a quest that threatens to destroy her family, Rosie's path is clear: she must sacrifice all she holds dear to save a world on the brink of collapse, and hope she doesn't lose herself along the way.

I hate the main character, the writer described her as the strong woman yet every scene, she is a damsel in distress. She always need a knight in shining armour to save her. I thought this would be about a woman who would arise an empowered woman character. she is hypocrite too gosh. she is always enraged at the injustice that is her mother but she won't do a thing. I mean she strikes her mother out of self defense and felt guilty about it?! its not actually relatable! She always cry amd quickly discouraged and always hides in her room. I thoight she was supposed to complete a mission yet it took the Untouchables intruding for her to move. I got mad wasting my time on this. It looks like the writer did not know how to end the story so she just dragged it too long and in ended with nothing. No offense but all the characters are terrible and not relatable. I know this is supposed to be fantasy romance but it zhould also arise the same emotion from readers afterall they are the main target.

It breaks my heart to have to rate so low, but I'm so incredibly disappointed. We're really supposed to believe Rosie is a strong & independent female character? I loved the world building, but I couldn't finish out the third book when it became evident that Rosie was going to fall into the arms of a guy who mistreated her repeatedly. Over & over & over again, just for him to say "oops sorry my bad" then she'll leap into his arms. "My journey isn't you," she says, yet continues to brave his abusive outbursts, accepting any crumbs she can get before he turns on her again. Then he does something "completely unforgivable" in her words (something he absolutely shouldn't be forgiven for) & she turns around and forgives him AGAIN. PLEASE. The author gave us"I'm not like other girls, I hit people and play sports" but couldn't give us a woman with genuine strength, that has some boundaries for god's sake. It's such a great premise for a story gone to waste. Unhealthy relationship is so not it.

excellent details. this story line follows the direction of day time soap operas... interesting, exciting, emotional but never a full ending or any closure.
