About the author
Markus Orths wurde 1969 geboren und studierte Philosophie, Romanistik und Anglistik in Freiburg. Er lebt als freier Autor in Karlsruhe. Seine Bücher wurden in insgesamt siebzehn Sprachen übersetzt, "Das Zimmermädchen" wurde 2015 für das Kino verfilmt. 2017 erschien sein Roman MAX im Carl Hanser Verlag. 2020 folgte dort PICKNICK IM DUNKELN. Markus Orths ist außerdem Autor von Hörspielen und Kinderbüchern.
