Lieutenant Commander Bradi Vasil was never looking for a mate to most he seem a real ladies man.The problem was Bradi wants one woman the only woman he couldn't have the only woman he couldn't get he's best friend Peter's fiancee Doctor Marisa Langston. Bradi is due for a checkup and the one to see his is the last person he wants to be near right now ,Marisa. The checkup becomes eventful with a lot of taunting and teasing between the two. A dreadful event happen aboard the spaceship leaving most of the crew either dead or badly hurt. All aboard that are left able have to leave and assist all survivors Via escape pods. In a rush to leave Bradi and Marisa are the last to leave having to share a pod in hopes to get to safety. But things don't go as planned ,the course set for arrival is not what is planned neither are the events that happen to and when they get there, not by a long shot .Ever here the saying you can never go home .......well I guess in some cases they are wrong .Yes the past does come back to haunt you but not in the way you think. And love all ways wins in the end which is why I don't want to give to much away.

I loved this book. It starts out with a steamy scene between our two main characters, Lorelei and Sevan. Sevan is from Earth and is a Commission Officer. Earth thought they got rid of their paranormal inhabitants many years ago. Sevan has a small amount of werelion DNA and keeps under the radar, afraid to get married and have kids, just in case his kids are born shifters. Lorelei Janelle's home world is one of the Planets that received the Project Exorcism ships. It was not scheduled to be there but that is where it crash landed over 150 years ago. Lorelei is a panther shifter and has been dreaming of Sevan for 6 months. When they meet they are both shocked to see that the other is not a figment of their imaginations. I loved the back and forth between the characters. At times it can be a bit confusing in the beginning about what is going on and why it is happening. We are in the same boat as the Sevan, we do not know the entire back story of the planet at the beginning. However, you do find it out and everything makes sense by the end of the book. The interactions with the secondary characters, Jordan, Nina, Jacquelyn and Christian are funny scenes.

UPDATE 4/18/18 I JUST LISTENED TO AUDIO OF THE STEAMY READ. THE NARRATOR DOES A GREAT JOB WITH BOTH THE MALE AND FEMALE CHARACTERS. If you dream of a woman long enough does she become real? That's the question Sevan asks when he sees the woman on screen he's been making love to in his dreams for six months. She's directing him for an emergency landing on her planet. Loreli has had the same dreams! She wants him, he wants her. Should be easy. Except: The planet has dangers that seem insurmountable and no one wants to subject outsiders to them. With the ship needing repairs to continue the crew is allowed to stay only for repairs. Of course, they can't be completed as quickly as necessary. Night falls and the danger is multiplied. Ms. Roth creates a world of humans, more than humans, villains, heroes, strong women, hot alpha males and a history that ties them together. She uses her brand of humor and introductions to characters we want to know more about for future stories. This one stands alone but is a tempting introduction to other lives and stories.
