Every Mandy Roth book becomes my new favorite. I enjoyed the snappy dialogue with the friends, male and female. The story involves the life and loves of Lindsay. She has powers gifted from two paranormal parents. She needs all of them and more. Evil non-humans have been after her for years--torturing her to give up her fated mate--the Prince of Darkness. She can't give up what she doesn't know. Lindsay has had her heartbreaks and she still fights for right in her empowered life and her human life. Her center for kids is the meeting place of Exavier, a rock star who wants to drag her back in to the life on the road as a famed choreographer. She is instantly enthralled even though she if off human men. He has a secret, she is unwilling to acknowledge as she gets to know him. Her great friends do their best to protect her from evil, stalkers, and often herself, however she doesn't want to put them in danger and often takes chances to protect them. Her friends have their own powers--and verbal thrashing is a prime skill for each of them. When she finally realizes the identity of her mate and their connection her reaction startles everyone. Their path is not strew with rose petals--there are fights and life altering secrets revealed. Meeting the band is like listening to the banter with the PSI Ops guys--but then they are all shifters. The book is non stop action and revelations. Take the ride for another ride with Ms Roth and her imagination, you won't be sorry.

I fell in love with this book just from reading the 1st page of the prologue. There was such suspense of who, what, where & why. That, alone kept me riveted to chair & book! Lindsay the very main female character of this book is so quick witted. The bond she has with her girlfriends is amazing. This book can make you laugh aloud till your sides hurt & also make cry. It's fast paced & full of action with baddies, & best of all a HEA. Personally I loved it & I think Mandy M Roth has hit it big again with this book, her humour shines through out this book. Its well worth uts five stars & more.

This book was predictable BUT I fell in love with the characters instantly & had it read in 2 days. They are a bunch of badasses but Linsay has a heart of gold with a backstory that had me shedding tears. I laughed, blushed, cried & woo hooed. Can't wait to read the next book! Mrs. Roth NEVER disappoints.
