I did enjoy reading this book. It was sad reading of the way unmarried mothers & their babies were treated then. As I was born in 1952 lots of things mentioned brought back many memories.
About the author
Lynn Knight was born in Derbyshire and lives in London. A writer, editor and lecturer, she is the editor of two collections of short stories, and author of the biography, Clarice Cliff.
