Charmaine Pauls does it again. A mind blowing story that has it on the edge of your seat. This is a story having so many twists and turns throughout it. I will say to a degree I have a little harder time connecting with Sabella. I am sure it is because she is young in the beginning of the book. But, I still throughly enjoy her. She is definitely sweet and caring. Angelo is definitely your dark and possessive guy that definitely has a lasting effect. The relationship we see developing throughout the book is for sure unique. The story is extremely well written and developed. The descriptions are vivid. Ms. Pauls always pulls me into her stories and doesn’t let go. This one is no different. I absolutely was completely enthralled with the story. We get to the end of the book and let me just say it was an extremely shocking cliffhanger. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book. An absolute must read.

Wow! What a great beginning to this new series! And holy heck, what a cliffhanger!!! This is a fast read but it really laid out everything we are going to need to know moving forward as well as setting a few things in line for the continuing storyline. There is definitely a sense of impending doom to the whole situation on Sabella’s side. As for Angelo, I’m totally invested in what he's going to do and how things will play out. I believe this hero is going to take us all for quite a ride!

Whew boy! You best be prepared and strap in for this one because we are going on a long ride that is dark, intense, twisty and hot! This is book 1 of 4, so that cliffy is coming and it is apocalyptic!! Sabella and Angelo make a very intriguing pair. With chemistry that is simply undeniable and sparks that are fiery, the heat just scorches and sizzles. The storyline sucks you in quickly with a seductive and smartly crafted combination of tension, drama, emotion, action and twists.
