Louis Pergaud est un écrivain français né le 22 janvier 1882 à Belmont et mort pour la France le 8 avril 1915 à Fresnes-en-Woëvre. Il est notamment l'auteur de De Goupil à Margot, prix Goncourt 1910, et de La Guerre des boutons, paru en 1912.
