This was a dark romance that took me on a ride. It is suspenseful and had so many twists. I was going on this journey with Petal and oh my, was it mind blowing. I could not figure out what was going on. Linnea did such a fabulous job keeping me hooked on this read. It is long since it is two books in one, but it is worth it just to read them both at once. I went into this blind and am so glad I did. I don’t want to give too much away, but the dynamics between J and Petal are perfect.

Petal by Linnea May I love this author work of fiction. She’s good at it and she knows how to capture our imagination and run with it. For sure this book will have you in suspense and on your toes. You’re always guessing especially when you wanted Petal to be safe. Yes there are some triggers but I like the dark suspense situation that makes this story extra interesting. Very recommended to have this story.

This is a dark gothic romance in the best way. This book takes the reader on a psychological journey, as Petal tries to connect the pieces of her fragmented past. It is hard to say who is a friend, or foe. The extended epilogue resolves unanswered questions. I enjoyed the suspense, and mystery. Revisiting this book is a good thing. I received a free copy of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
