About the author

Dr. Lin Yola is Senior Lecturer at the School of Strategic and Global Studies, Universitas Indonesia (SSGS UI). She is currently appointed as Manager of a research, community engagement, and international collaboration in SSGS UI. Dr. Lin Yola is Active Academic and Researcher, with strong architecture and urban planning background, is best known for her model of ‘Climatically Responsive Urban Configuration’. Her significant works urge designers and planners to confront climate challenge in strategizing urban spaces to create conducive living in today city area. She has several years of experiences as Head of Programs, Head of Research Clusters, Journal Reviewers, and Head of Community Projects in the university environment.

Dr. Nangkula Utaberta is International Writer, Professor, and Researcher who has written 22 academic research books of architecture in Malaysia. Born in Indonesia, Nangkula obtained his Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Architecture degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in Johor Bahru. Currently, he is Research Fellow at Halal Product Research Institute (IPPH) and at the same time Professor of Architecture and Head of Research Development Center, Linton University College. Before joining this university, he served as Associate Professor at Faculty of Design and Architecture, Universiti Putra Malaysia (2012-2018), Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at National University of Malaysia-UKM (2009-2012), Deputy Dean and Founder of School of Architecture and Design at Legenda Education Group (2006-2009), and Lecturer at SPACE program, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and University of Indonesia. Nangkula was once Visiting Lecturer at the State Islamic University of Malang (UIN Malang-2009) and University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS-2005). He is also Associate Research Fellow at various centers of excellence in Malaysia and Indonesia including the Honorary Advisor at Relife Green Development, Expert Committee of the National Heritage Department of Malaysia, and Senior Advisor at Center for Islamic Architecture (Islamic State University of Malang), Center for Indonesian Reform and Center for Islamic Architecture Studies (Muhamadiyah University of Surakarta).

Dr. Olutobi Gbenga Ayegbusi received his Ph.D. in Architecture from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He is currently working as Lecturer in the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Built Environment at Linton University College (LUC), Malaysia. He is also in Linton University College Research Management team as Assistant Director of the unit.

Dr. Mokhtar Awang is Professional Engineer and Associate Professor at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Perak, Malaysia. He has 6 years of experience in industry and over 18 years of academic experience in the field of finite element modeling. He is Co-author of a book and Editor of 7 books related to finite element modeling and material engineering. He has also published more than ninety peer-reviewed journal and conference papers.
