This book of short stories was my favorite book by Yuknovich (of the five I've read) before last year's exemplary novel Thrust..This is a great book to check out from a library, while waiting for your hardcopy of Thrust to arrive in the mail; and who knows what she have published by the time you read this review whicho is mostly my blabbering about Yuknoviche's novel Thrust.. Verge is great if you don't want to get invested in a novel yet..albeit, in Thrust you join a girl who time travels so get Thrust now, and then read Verge last year instead of waiting until now.
About the author
Lidia Yuknavitch is the nationally bestselling author of the novels The Book of Joan, The Small Backs of Children, and Dora: A Headcase, and of the memoir The Chronology of Water. She is the recipient of two Oregon Book Awards and has been a finalist for the Brooklyn Public Library Literary Prize and the PEN Center USA Creative Nonfiction Award. She lives in Portland, Oregon.
